Model & Energy Principles

ΔE = E(high) - E(low) = h · f = h · c / λ

Electrical discharge supplies energy to promote electrons from their ground state to outer quantized shells (n=2, n=3). When decaying back to lower energy levels, photons are emitted with specific wavelengths inversely proportional to the energy transition gap (ΔE).

Pedagogical Model Note: Displays single valence electron transitions across quantized shells (n=1,2,3) to visually illustrate energy drop variations clearly.
